On October 25, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inaugurated a 240-kilometer section of the Kungirot-Beineu highway, a key project designed to enhance logistics and connectivity for Uzbekistan. This highway is set to link the nation with European markets through the Caspian and Black Sea ports, marking a significant step in regional infrastructure development.

The project involved the construction of the road section with cement concrete pavement along the A-380, specifically from km 964 to km 1204, covering the Kungrad to Daut-Ata segment. This section was divided into six lots of approximately 40 kilometers each.

Implementation occurred through a duration of approx. 24 months. The contracts adhered to the FIDIC Conditions of Contract Multilateral Development Bank Harmonized Edition, June 2010 (“Pink Book”), ensuring that the project met international standards for quality and performance.

We’re proud to share that IRD Engineering, in partnership with the Korean company Dongsung, served as the Engineer. This project not only enhances regional connectivity but also meets international standards for quality and performance.

A big thank you to our team and partners for their hard work and dedication! Together, we’re building a better future.
