We are proud to announce the signing of a new contract with the Roads Department of Georgia, further strengthening IRD Engineering’s long-standing commitment to supporting the development of Georgia’s transport sector.
Under this assignment, IRD Engineering will assist in the preparation of a Road Maintenance Strategy, Road Maintenance Guidelines, and a comprehensive Capacity Building Program aimed at enhancing road asset management, maintenance planning, financing mechanisms, and institutional performance.
The project is financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
This new assignment builds on IRD Engineering’s extensive presence in Georgia, where we have been supporting the delivery of critical transport infrastructure projects through consultancy, design review, construction supervision, project management, and technical advisory services. Over the years, our experience in the country has enabled us to work closely with public institutions and international financial institutions, contributing to the improvement of connectivity, safety, and sustainability across the road network.
The project also highlights IRD Engineering’s strong expertise in Technical Assistance and Capacity Building. Beyond engineering consultancy, we support public authorities in strengthening their institutional and operational capabilities through strategic planning, road asset management, policy development, training programs, knowledge transfer, and the implementation of international best practices. Our objective is not only to support infrastructure investments but also to create sustainable institutional value that remains long after project completion.
