IRD Engineering was set up in the year 2000 aiming at the provision of engineering services during the reconstruction efforts after the conflicts that had unfortunately taken place in the Western Balkans. The accumulated expertise was very soon demanded in other regions and the company expanded its presence into Northeast Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Totally independent from any construction or industrial group, IRD provides planning, design, supervision, and technical assistance services, covering all phases during a project implementation.
Year after year, slowly but steadily, the company has taken small steps to become what it is today: one of the leading companies worldwide in the provision of construction supervision services for transport infrastructure schemes. And always keeping a very focused commitment to defend the interests of our clients, both public and private institutions.
Nowadays IRD Engineering is implementing important supervision contracts in countries like Georgia, Kazakhstan, India, Ukraine, Mongolia, the Russian Federation, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Serbia, to name a few, and we will soon kick off new assignments in Italy and in Uzbekistan. Each of these projects is rigorously handled by a committed team of over 350 professionals distributed along a network of 18 branches and subsidiaries.
