IRD Engineering is present in North Macedonia for over a decade, where it has been involved in dozens of consulting and engineering assignments ever since. The firm operates through a branch office with permanent engineers and specialists in different disciplines: roads, structures, environment, procurement, etc.
Important assignments that have been completed by IRD in North Macedonia, to name a few, are the Supervision of the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Local Roads in the Western and Eastern Regions (EBRD-funded) or the Consulting Services for the Repair and Strengthening of Bridges and Carriageway Structures (NATO-funded).
Currently, the company is executing 5 projects in the country, where it is worth to highlight the Supervision of the Remaining Link along the Corridor X – Section Demir Kapija – Smokvica, with an overall investment value of almost 260 million Euro. The project is funded by the EU and is implemented in joint venture with EGIS.
