ENR (Engineering News-Record) has just released the 2021’s edition of its Top 225 International Design Firms list, a ranking of engineering firms based on export revenue generated from projects outside each’s respective home country.
As a result of the consolidated activities in more than 25 countries in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Africa, IRD Engineering has ranked 130th, climbing four positions from last year. And all this under such unfavourable circumstances in the international markets as last year’s pandemic-related shutdowns, which severely slowed down many our traditional markets.
In relation to this achievement, Mr. Paolo Orsini, Managing Director of IRD Engineering stated: “Since the year 2000 we are working hard in the internationalisation of the company and in achieving a balanced diversification in the markets we cater and in the services we provide. The gradual but constant improvement in our position at this ranking is a solid confirmation of the commitment of our teams in all countries where we are present. We will continue giving them the tools, the support and the means so that this growth can continue in the years to come”.
