The first ever implemented project by IRD Engineering in Kosovo dates back to the year 2000 when the company provided Technical Assistance to the Transport Unit of European Agency of Reconstruction in Pristina during the design, tendering and supervision of various roads, bridges and administrative buildings.
Now, 21 years later, we have just started the implementation of our 26th contract. The scope of this new assignment, which is funded by the European Union under the EU IPA 2017 Programme, is to improve the physical infrastructure and equipment at five regional offices of the Kosovo Food and Veterinary Agency, namely by preparing the preliminary and detailed designs, all tender documents and by supervising all construction works.
These works relate to the construction of five office buildings, together with the supply and installation of all the furniture and equipment necessary for their smooth functioning.
Thus, a team of engineers and architects from IRD Engineering will undertake the preparation of the tender dossiers and will assist the European Union Office in Kosovo in the administration of the works contracts, carrying out the duties of the “Supervisor’s Representative” as defined by PRAG.
