IRD Engineering has recently signed a new contract with the Public Enterprise for State Roads of the Republic of North Macedonia (PESR), aimed at the provision of technical assistance services for the implementation of the “National Roads Programme”.
The contract is financed by EBRD under a loan for the construction and upgrading of sections of the national road network that is divided in two tranches:
Tranche 1: “Reconstruction and widening of the section Stip – Kocani (27 km)” and “Construction of the section Raec – Drenovo (10 km)”; and
Tranche 2: Rehabilitation program for 25 sections divided into 6 phases.
The total project cost is approximately EUR 95 million for Tranche 1 and EUR 93 million for Tranche 2.
Our team will support PESR in preparation of tender dossiers, during tendering period and during tender evaluation, in the administration of all works and engineering contracts, in monitoring progress based on the project implementation plan, and in the settlement of any claims, also ensuring the effective transfer of relevant skills to PESR staff.
