Last 24th July, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine officially opened the first phase of Poltava Bypass, the last section of a project aimed at the construction of three new bypasses on the M03 Kyiv – Kharkiv – Dovzhanskyy Road in Ukraine. The Director of Ukravtodor, the Director of the Road Service in Poltava Region and Members of the national Parliament and local authorities also took part in the opening ceremony.

The inaugurated Poltava Bypass comprises 5 kilometers of four-lane divided motorway, 2 interchanges, 1 major concrete viaduct, 1 major steel viaduct and 3 overpasses. Works, which have been financed by the World Bank, have been completed on time and within budget.

This project has been supervised by a team of Engineers from  #IRDEngineering, who are carrying out the duties of “The Engineer” in accordance with the Bank Harmonized Edition of the #FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction.
