Works Supervision for the Highway Buzau – Focsani, Section 4 – Mandresti Munteni – Focsani North

The Motorway A7 (Ploiești – Buzău – Focșani – Bacău – Pascani), also known as the Ploiești – Siret Motorway or the Moldavia Motorway, is part of the TEN-T Core network (Pan-European Corridor IX), and it includes the sections Ploiești – Buzău (63.25 km), Buzău – Focșani (82.44 km), Focșani – Bacău (95.90 km), and Bacău – Pașcni (77.40 km).

The recently-awarded section will connect Mândrești Munteni with Focșani and it is 11 kilometers-long.

The value of all works is approximately 150 million Euro that will be financed by the European Union through the PNRR (the Romania’s Recovery and Resilience Plan). The construction is expected to be finalized in 2024 after which a defect notification period of ten years will start.

IRD Engineering provides technical supervision of the motorway works to make sure these are carried out in full compliance with the engineering design, technical specifications and other contract documents.
