Technical Audit and Review – Bukhara Road Network Improvement Project (Phase I)

IRD Engineering provides independent Technical Audit and Review services for the reconstruction and upgrading of 78 km of the A-380 highway under Phase I of the Bukhara Road Network Improvement Project. Financed by AIIB, the works include rigid concrete pavement rehabilitation, drainage upgrades, safety improvements, and full application of environmental and social safeguards.

Scope of Services

IRD conducts a comprehensive, Independent technical audit through the review of design and contract documentation, field inspections to verify progress and workmanship, and assessment of material quality and testing procedures. The team evaluates compliance with AIIB’s environmental, social, health, and safety standards while validating the project’s financial and physical progress. Findings are consolidated into structured audit reports containing recommendations for corrective actions and performance optimisation. The assignment is delivered by a multidisciplinary team supported by local partner AMEC.
