Supervision of the Remaining Link along the Corridor X to the level of Motorway – Section Demir Kapija – Smokvica

The overall objective of the project was the completion of Corridor X to the level of motorway, between Demir Kapija and Smokvica, providing supervision services under the 1999 FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction for building and engineering works designed by the “Employer” (Red Book)

The length of the highway was about 28.2 km according to the Detailed Design. Along the route, beside earth works on cuts and embankments, 2 (two) double tube tunnels above 1 km length, 6 (six) bridges and 2 (two) interchanges, 5 (five) overpasses, 7 (seven) underpasses and other related minor constructions (walls, cox culverts and others).

The works included the execution of all technology facilities for tunnels and systems for pay toll stations at Demir – Kapija.

The overall value of works was around 220 million Euro
