Project Management and Works Supervision

Supervision of the High School Centre’s Construction in Graçanica

The overall objective of the project was to build of a new high school centre in Graçanica by regrouping several schools located in different areas into a single secondary school building.

The new centre includes: 26 classrooms,1 Library, 1 canteen including a small kitchen for food warming, 5 laboratories for 24 students each (2 computers rooms, 1 chemistry room, 1 biology room and 1 physics room), 2 laboratories in school of Economy for 12 students each, 4 Specialized laboratories for medical school with 24 students per laboratory (1 anatomy room, 1 first help room, 1 pharmaceutical technology room, 1 physiology room), 2 Storage rooms for school supplies, 1 gym-hall.

The total gross floor surface of the high school centre is around 6,700 m2.

The supervision is performed in accordance with all relevant EU and domestic legislation and organised in a way that will contribute to and facilitate a timely implementation of the works via an efficient and effective use of the human and financial resources available;

IRD Engineering was involved in all stages starting from the supervision of the preparatory works, construction works, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and supervision during the defect liability period (warranty period), request for the use permit.
