Supervision of Rehabilitation Works and Environmental & Social Monitoring – RRSP (EIB Additional Sections)

As part of the Road Rehabilitation and Safety Project (RRSP), IRD Engineering has been contracted to supervise the rehabilitation of 10 road sections, with a total length of approximately 260 km, financed jointly by the European Investment Bank and the Government of Serbia. The assignment ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and environmentally compliant road infrastructure across the national network. The Services cover full construction supervision and comprehensive monitoring of environmental and social safeguards in line with EIB standards and Serbian regulations. The objective is to guarantee that all works are executed to the required technical, contractual, and safety standards, while ensuring transparent contract administration and performance control.

Scope of Services

IRD Engineering’s mandate covers the full administration and control of civil works contracts, including establishing contract management procedures, overseeing compliance with contractual obligations, and verifying quantities, costs and technical records. The team reviews and certifies payments, approves key staff, guarantees, method statements, safety measures, materials and QA/QC plans, and supervises works to ensure progress, quality and safety. IRD also prepares all required technical and contractual reports and carries out or verifies material testing for the completed works.
