Supervision of Rehabilitation of the State Road A2 Kumanovo – Stracin, Section I (km.0+000 – km.15+195)

The scope of this assignment, which is funded by the European Union’s Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, is the supervision of the rehabilitation of the State Road A2 Kumanovo – Stracin, Section I (km0+000 – km15+195), with a total length of 15.2 km.

The works relate to the rehabilitation of a single carriageway road, repairing 6 culverts and 2 bridges, rehabilitating 2 interchanges, posting road equipment and road marking, as well as implementing various environmental mitigation measures.

A team of engineers from IRD assist the Public Enterprise for State Roads in the administration of the works contract, carrying out the duties of the Engineer as defined in the FIDIC Conditions of Contract (Red Book – First Edition 1999).
