Consultancy Services for the Supervision of Rehabilitation Works on M06 Kyiv – Chop Road km 129+600 – km 151+730 (Zhytomyr Bypass)

The project envisages the complete rehabilitation and upgrading of this 22.1 km-long road section, which is situated west of Kiev, on the highway M06/E40 Kiev – Chop. It includes the widening from two to four lanes with cement concrete pavement, the reconstruction of an existing and the construction of two new interchanges, the restoration of three railway crossings and an existing bridge, the construction of two new pedestrian bridges, and the installation of lightning and modern road furniture.

A team of engineers from IRD is providing qualified and professional technical services in administering the Contract, carrying out all the duties of the Engineer under FIDIC Red Book– Bank Harmonized Edition 2010, so to ensure the timely and satisfactorily completion of all the works.

The scheme is being implemented with the support of the EBRD and the EIB, in the framework of the Pan-European Corridors Project.
