We are pleased to share that IRD Engineering, as a consortium partner alongside HYDROPHIL GmbH (lead partner), will contribute to the supervision of the Improvement of the Water Supply System in the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje, Montenegro. Following an international procurement process, the supervision contract has been officially signed.
This important investment includes the construction and rehabilitation of approximately 92 km of water supply infrastructure, new reservoirs and pumping facilities, and modernization of the network to improve service reliability for the citizens of Cetinje.
For IRD Engineering, this project is another opportunity to contribute our expertise in the water sector, where we provide services covering the full project cycle, from planning and design to construction supervision, contract management, environmental compliance, and institutional support.
Today, our teams are supporting the implementation of water and sanitation projects across Serbia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Laos, working alongside international financial institutions, utilities, and public authorities to improve access to sustainable water services.
We thank the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje, DOO Project – Consulting – Podgorica (PROCON), the Ministry of Ecology, the European Investment Bank (EIB), the WBIF – Western Balkans Investment Framework, and our consortium partners for their trust and collaboration.
We look forward to contributing to the successful delivery of this important project for the people of Cetinje.
