We are pleased to announce that the consortium IRD Engineering – Ekoengineering – Kontpas has signed a new contract under a framework agreement with the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency (API), covering Region 3 (Burgas, Sliven and Yambol) in south‑eastern Bulgaria.
This new assignment builds on the framework contract signed a few months ago by the same consortium with the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency for Lot 8, covering the regions of Haskovo, Kardzhali and Stara Zagora, under the public procurement procedure “Repair Works of Republican Roads on the Territory of Bulgaria – Framework Agreement for Nine Lots”.
Together, these two framework agreements significantly strengthen the role of the IRD Engineering – Ekoengineering – Kontpas consortium in Bulgaria’s national road infrastructure programme, aimed at improving the technical condition, safety and operational performance of the republican road network.
The newly signed framework agreement for Region 3 covers a network of approximately 2,418 km of republican roads, including motorways, expressways and Class I, II and III roads, as well as related structures such as bridges, tunnels, culverts, interchanges and retaining walls.
Under both framework contracts, the consortium will provide:
- Comprehensive conformity assessment reports;
- Structural technical control;
- Construction supervision for rehabilitation, reconstruction and major repair works, in full compliance with Bulgarian legislation.
