Building on its experience in delivering supervision services for over ten highway projects in Romania, IRD Engineering continues to expand into strategic infrastructure sectors, including defense.
IRD Engineering has signed a contract for supervision services for the project “Infrastructure of the 57th Air Base in Barracks 888 Mihail Kogălniceanu”, a key investment in Romania’s defense sector.
The contract was awarded by the Ministry of National Defence – Military Unit 02542 Focșani through a public procurement procedure on SEAP, covering consultancy and supervision for both design and construction phases.
The project will be carried out by a consortium led by Ghallard, with IRD Engineering as a partner alongside experienced infrastructure specialists.
The assignment includes the modernization and development of the 57th Air Base, with supervision services ensuring quality, compliance with technical standards, and effective oversight throughout all project phases.
This contract further strengthens IRD Engineering’s position in delivering consultancy and supervision services for complex infrastructure projects.
