IRD Engineering is proud to contribute to the ongoing project for the Preparation of a National Electric Vehicle (EV) Strategy and Charging Infrastructure in support of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of North Macedonia, with financing provided by the EBRD.
Together with our partner Dornier Group (Dornier Consulting International GmbH), IRD Engineering brings extensive experience in transport infrastructure to help shape a comprehensive strategic framework for the country’s transition toward electric mobility.
The assignment supports national authorities in defining a long-term, forward-looking approach to e‑mobility, addressing both policy and infrastructure needs across the road network. Key areas of work include:
- Analysis of the current e‑mobility landscape and regulatory framework;
- Development of EV‑uptake scenarios and associated infrastructure needs through 2050;
- Identification of priority actions for early implementation;
- Support for institutional coordination, investment planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Through this project, IRD Engineering is helping lay the foundation for an efficient, sustainable, and future‑ready transport system, contributing to North Macedonia’s shift toward cleaner mobility.
