On July 3–4, IRD Engineering Albania, successfully organized a two-day training session for the PIU of Albanian Railways titled “Effective ESHS Implementation and Monitoring” as part of the PIU Support for the Rehabilitation of the Vorë–Hani i Hotit Railway Line project.
Hosted at the Albanian Railways HQ, the training brought together PIU staff for an engaging and hands-on session focused on strengthening Environmental, Social, Health, and Safety (ESHS) standards in railway infrastructure. Over the course of two days, four expert trainers shared insights and best practices on ESHS implementation, compliance, and monitoring — tailored specifically to the challenges of railway rehabilitation.
This effort is part of our broader commitment to ensuring sustainable and resilient infrastructure delivery aligned with international standards.
Furthermore, we are also pleased to share that the Design and Supervision Licenses for IRD Engineering Albania have been officially renewed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania. This important milestone confirms our compliance with national regulations and ensures our continued eligibility to support strategic public infrastructure projects across sectors, including transport, roads, bridges, and railways.
Together, these achievements reflect the dedication of our team and the trust placed in IRD Engineering as a committed partner in Albania’s infrastructure modernization.
We thank all involved and look forward to supporting the country’s sustainable development through quality engineering and institutional collaboration.
