We’re excited to announce our continued partnership with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the Albanian Road Authority (ARA) on the Building Resilient Bridges Program. This project aims to enhance the resilience of Albania’s critical bridge infrastructure against climate change and natural hazards.
IRD Engineering has been awarded the design review and supervision contract for the Beshiri Bridge, a vital infrastructure asset identified for rehabilitation after extensive studies. Located on the Tirane-Ndroq-Plepa road, this bridge was severely impacted by the 2019 earthquake and 2020 floods. Our involvement ensures improved safety, connectivity, and long-term economic growth.
We are thrilled to continue working in Albania, a core country for IRD, and look forward to further strengthening our collaboration with IBRD and ARA in driving infrastructure development.
