IRD Engineering is proudly organizing a Study Visit from 18th to 21st November 2024 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, under the EU-funded project “Support for Road Sector Reform and Road Safety Strategy”. The project, managed by the EU Delegation to Albania, is aimed at supporting Albania’s road safety improvements and infrastructure reform.

This visit brings together key stakeholders from Albania, including representatives from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MoIE), Albanian Road Authority (ARA), Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoF), Ministry of Health (MoH), DPSHTRR, Ministry of Interior (MoI), as well as the EU Delegation in Albania and consultants from the IRD-SUEZ-DRI joint venture.

The study tour offers an in-depth exploration of Slovenia’s road safety strategy, infrastructure improvements, vehicle safety standards, and post-crash care practices. Slovenian institutions such as the Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure, Traffic Safety Agency, DARS, Slovenian Police, and Ministry of Health are sharing their expertise with the Albanian delegation, providing valuable insights to guide Albania’s future road safety reforms.

At IRD Engineering, we are proud to lead this initiative and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices that will support safer roads for the future.
