Water Supply and Sewerage in the Republic of Srpska II – Supervision Services

Representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the Joint Venture IRD Engineering – Suez signed a new contract to provide supervision services for the Project “Water Supply and Sewerage in the Republic of Srpska II”, also known as WATSAN 2.

The ultimate goal of WATSAN is to improve the quality of water supply and sanitation services for about 215,000 residents in 24 municipalities and cities in the Republic of Srpska that participate in this project. It has a total value of 60 million euros (30 million euros financed by the European Investment Bank).

Thanks to this new contract, a team from IRD Engineering is assisting several local governments and utilities during the supervision of the construction of water supply and sewerage systems, and water and wastewater treatment plants. The projects will be implemented according to FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
