Supervision Services for Construction of Motorway on Corridor Vc, Section Tarčin – Konjic, Subsection Tarčin – Ivan (LOT2: Tunnel Ivan)

The development of Corridor Vc is a priority for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Once completed, the new motorway will cross the country from the port of Ploce in the south to the border with Croatia in the north. It is currently the biggest construction project in the country and, as a result, the European Union and its partners – the EBRD and the EIB – are actively supporting its development.

As part of this program, IRD Engineering has signed a contract with the Public Company Motorways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ltd Mostar aimed at the supervision of a road section (2 km) that includes the double-tubed Ivan Tunnel. The length of the right tube, including the portal building, is 1721 m, while the left tube is 1761 m long. The design speed is 120 km/h for open road and 100 km/h inside the tunnel.

IRD Engineering will take the function of the Engineer in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction.
