Issyk-Kul Ring Road Improvement Project – Section 3

IRD Engineering has been engaged as Construction Supervision Consultant for the widening and reconstruction of 75.2 km of the Barskoon–Karakol section of the Issyk-Kul Ring Road. The project will upgrade the existing two-lane road to a modern four-lane facility, enhancing safety, capacity, and regional connectivity along the southeastern lakeshore of Issyk-Kul.

Civil works will be procured following ADB’s Standard Bidding Documents and implemented under FIDIC Red Book 2017, with IRD Engineering acting as the Engineer.

Scope of Services

The consultancy covers construction supervision and monitoring, oversight of environmental, social, gender and resettlement safeguards, and the implementation of road safety awareness campaigns throughout the project area.
