The 13th Congress on Transport and Transport Infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina took place last 19th and 20th September 2024 in Sarajevo. Organised by the Association of Consulting Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (UKI BiH), in collaboration with the European Union Road Federation (ERF), it is the most important professional event in the road sector in Bosnia, and one of the most significant sectoral conferences in the whole region.
The main topics of the current edition, in which IRD Engineering was one of the sponsors, were:
- Green road transport;
- TEN-T network;
- Smart transport in urban areas;
- Studies and projects;
- A safer road network.
IRD Engineering is present in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2003, operating through a branch office in Sarajevo and subsidiary company in Banja Luka and having all the necessary licences to work in the road and railway engineering sectors. Nowadays, the company is implementing several important contracts in the country, mainly in the field of road design and road supervision, but also in the water and sanitation area.
