Main Roads Reconstruction Project – Supervision of the Works on Reconstruction of Main Roads M2 Rozaje – Spiljani, M18 Podgorica – Danilovgrad and M2 Tivat – Budva (Jaz)

The Project is part of a wider program to reconstruct twelve main road sections, with a total length of approximately 216 km, of Montenegro’s main roads network, being co-financed by EBRD and EIB. The ultimate objective of this program is the improvement of the connections between the two main airports and the country’s main tourist destinations, and the facilitation of the flow of goods and domestic and international tourists.

In this context, IRD Engineering signed a contract with the Transport Administration of the Government of Montenegro, aimed at the provision of FIDIC supervision services during the reconstruction of three road sections, all part of the main network. The three subprojects are the reconstruction of M-2 road section Rozaje – Spiljani (20 km), of M-18 road section Podgorica – Danilovgrad (15 km) and of M-2 road section Tivat – Budva (Jaz) (16 km).

IRD Engineering takes the function of the Engineer in accordance with FIDIC-MDB Harmonised Edition of the Conditions of Contract for Construction.
